Worldseed

A small world that runs on its own. Villages grow into kingdoms, rulers come and go, borders shift, wars break out and kingdoms fall. You are its god.

• Shape it. Pick a power in the bar at the bottom, then click or drag on the map: raise mountains, flood valleys, plant forests.
• Seed it. Drop humans, elves, orcs or dwarves on dry land. They found their own kingdom.
• Meddle. Send rain or blessings, volcanoes, tornadoes, floods and plague, wake dragons, or start wars and forge alliances.
• Rule. Open ♛ Rule to take the throne of one kingdom: declare wars, demand fealty, arrange royal marriages, spend its gold on mercenaries and wonders, and chase ambitions for renown.
• Watch. Kingdoms grow from huts to walled cities and on to factories, skyscrapers and the Atomic Age, research new arts, sail to new islands, crown dynasties, raise heroes, follow prophets, build wonders and fight named wars, first with archers and catapults, then with muskets and cannon, at last with tanks, bombers and atom bombs. Click anyone to follow them. The Chronicle and the Legends keep the history of your world.

Drag to move the map, scroll or pinch to zoom. Space pauses, 1 to 4 set the speed, M turns sound on, V switches the map between kingdoms, faiths and plain land, T opens the atlas, H the history of the world, and C starts director mode, where the camera finds the action for you. The world is saved on this device and is waiting for you next time. Time only passes while the page is open.
